Not that many generations ago in England, that would get you a one way boat ride to an Australian prison or, in France, twenty years in a French one. They were very sensitive about bread theft in those days. I think we have progressed a bit since then (at least in some ways).

With the spinning stage? I love the spinning stage but most productions forgo that expense now.
