Seems like a real WTF idea. Could deter thefts, if thieves know, but would destroy sales to people who know and kill repeat sales. Maybe I’m missing something.

I assume it can be washed off before selling them, but then couldn’t the thieves just wash it off? I guess if they don’t know it’s there, but now the meme has ruined that…

If the thieves don’t know it’s there, it won’t stop them this year.
Colleges in Utah did/do that to their pine and fur trees in the fall to keep students from cutting them down. Not sure if they post signs about it or not. Maybe they are trying to catch the thieves as I believe the smell can remain in the room for a bit of time.
She was found guilty. I thought she might get off, as she came up with some really good excuses about why she lied so many times to the police.
I wonder if they’ll let her cook for the other inmates in prison.
