Battle Acts is now offering a course for Exam 9. Did anyone who use them for 8, and if yes, do you recommend them for 9?
Sorry I didn’t check this until just now, but I did use BA briefly for exam 8 in addition to the Cookbook. BattleActs has been adding new features and improvements so I think they’ll become a really good option, but when a seminar is brand new like exam 9’s is this year, they can be prone to having some errors (particularly in the original practice exams).
As a counterargument though, a bunch of the material for exam 9 they already had built out for their 7 and 8 seminars, so it was probably more polished than usual for a new exam.
I’m also curious if you or anyone else used BA for 9 this sitting and what your experience was. I do have access to the BA seminar right now even though I didn’t use it much, so maybe I’ll take a quick look through it now that my exam is over and give a more informed impression.
I am using them for 9 and I will report back after I take my exam how I think it prepared me.
I felt like BA prepared me knowledge wise but the exam was more difficult than the practice exam from any vendor. I spoke with co-workers who used TIA, RF, and BA and all of them felt that the actual exam was more difficult than the practice exams were.
The way the questions were constructed (the way the info was presented and what they wanted from you was sometime unclear) and the blooming of certain topics together made it a step up that I was not prepared for.
