Here’s the backstory to that one. Agree it’s fantastic.
I fell into the rabbit hole. Regular folk have long ago unlocked karaoke version but i hadnt thought to look this deep
This has an early 80’s Ozzy feel to it.
Post punk. The video is cuts from the 1990’s movie “Bufalo 66”
And to cleanse your auditory nerve…
My god seriously how good is this. Just damn.
Ok, give this one a try if you haven’t heard it. My first impression when my daughter (11) played it for me was, “ehh, country?”. But it’s not really country. It’s really one of those indie folk earworms that just grows on you. My favorite song of the year. Give it a few listens to grow.
Makes me really miss the days of AO BotB. I loved that it gave me a bonus purpose for seeking out new music and that extra sense of pride for finding good music. I would find a song like this and just know - damn, this is a winner. Can’t wait to share this and steamroll this round.

Good evening. Some evenings, and days for that matter, are better than others. Do you feel me? Tonight’s set is a reflection of that. Whatever the fuck that is.
Sometimes these lead in comments have nothing to do with the song.

Why you want to give me the run around?
I watched the movie about the band Sparks, which I recommend. I got a big laugh out of how they began to collaborate with Franz Ferdinand by Sparks sending FF the beginnings of a song entitled “Collaborations Don’t Work” as a challenge. And I got an even bigger laugh when I found out the name of the collaboration ended up being FFS.
