This December article from the conservative Washington Examiner suggests many ways for Trump to attack US Universities. One of the suggestions is to take a scalp and destroy one: Columbia.
Probably not a coincidence how this played out.
This would have appealed to Trump as he has a long-standing real estate grudge with Columbia.
Using tax data to round people up will be brutal amd destructive.
This is unbelievable. Please tell me this is fake news.
All i can say to shit like this is that a huge portion of the US is opposed to this craziness, and in particular antagonizing allies.
We’ve seen on this forum that some here are willing to vote for it if it lowers their taxes a little, which seems insane to me personally even as a person likely to be taxed.
It’s old news, not fake news.

But this is the concern I have if Trump does not finish his term. Vance could be worse.
Vance can’t lead, congress won’t be afraid of him. Lose Trump and they sputter out.
Vance would be totally beholden to the tech bros. Trump has split loyalties between the white nationalists and the tech bros.
Wouldn’t white nationalists actually oppose Vance due to his choice of spouse?
Yeah, that’s part of the reason he hasn’t captured that constituency.
Will be interesting to see Vance’s reaction if his wife gets (rightly) booed in Greenland….
Labeling Tesla vandals as domestic terrorism gives the government heightened surveillance powers over anyone that might protest Musk’s role in government
Meanwhile an actual domestic terrorism incident was a friendly guided tour through the Capitol.
“Domestic Terrorism for me, not for thee!”
Wouldn’t MAGA be mad about their leader being married to an immigrant who used chain migration to bring her parents to the US?
The leaders get a pass on the rules. It’s the privilege of power.
Of course, right now Vance is in the good graces of Trump like Pence used to be. Trump can always turn on him, and if Trump dies it all gets interesting.
