Sorry the forum was just down for a bit. I upgraded the forum software to the current version,and discourse’s upgrades suck - they break about 50% of the time. Including this time.
The upgrade is in prep for a move off of the cloud, over to my hardware. I’ve mentioned in other threads that I’m going back to my own servers in a Toronto based colo (151 front street) so Im moving the forum over. Hoping to make that happen today so best case secenario at some point we’ll have 15-20 of downtime. Worst case, I dunno, I break the internet.

ok so at some point today I’ll have the forum live on our servers. at that point I’ll make this site read only, do a final database copy, change the nameservers. Then it’ll take some time for the nameservers to update (they’re cached), once they update you’ll be at the new server and able to post again.
Theres better ways to do the migration but this is easiest and the sites not exactly mission critical.
And here we are back in Toronto. Migration successful though we’ve lost a few posts.

Well . . . that explains why I was forcefully logged out!
And I love that we now have a broader range of responses to a post than just a heart.

A number of pics are not loading for me. New stuff seems to be the issue.
check the URL. if they are back blaze hosted, that is being resolved right now. if they have an address on the forum, that should be resolved.

You might need to do a hard refresh (ctrl + shift + R on a computer) to see the updates, though.
Or clear your cache!
