I had already guessed “antelope”, so i assumed that ruled out the family of “true antelopes”, (antilopinae)

The members of tribe Antilopini are often referred to as true antelopes, and include the gazelles, blackbucks, springboks, gerenuks, dibatags, and Central Asian gazelles.

I finally asked for a hint, and was pissed by being told, “yeah, it’s actually an antelope”.

I bough the same 2 guesses as Lucy. But tried unsuccessfully to enter isopod before buying the guesses, which is what I thought pill bugs were called.

I tried to enter wood lice, which is a closely related critter (i think animals called “pill bugs” and those called “wood lice” overlap) and horseshoe crab, but it wouldn’t let me. I basically gave up thinking of names of critters that were still possibly when i asked for hints.
