I’ve had better luck with blurring images if i include some random text in addition to the image. If you accidentally click the blurred image, it unblurs, and you can’t re-click to re-blur it, because clicking the image has meaning. But you can click the random text to reblur.
On the one hand, that would have been my first guess, too. On the other hand, termites are morphologically pretty different from ants and bees. So i guess ur makes sense.
There seems to have been a lot of reclassification since i was a kid. I’m sure i learned that bats are closely related to primates, for instance, and a couple days ago i learned that’s no longer where they are placed. I think modern cladistics leans heavily on genetic information that wasn’t known when i learned this stuff. That’s part of what makes this game interesting.
I guessed it because “dung beetle” made the answer a beetle, but not one of the scarab beetles. And ladybug was the first beetle i thought I’d in another category of beetles.
