One bright spot in our animal household after Tater passed: the relationship between our other cat and the dog has changed noticeably. Tater and the dog were best buds for years, where the other cat was frenemies with each of them. There were no major problems, but always some minor skirmishes going on. The dog always wanted to be buds with both cats, but the girl cat was having none of that. Today she was rubbing on the dog. They are getting along much better and finally appreciating the company more.
Just wanted to get the opinions of a few cat lovers on here.
Our little one has decided she wants to take our cats out for a stroll, so I am looking at a few options.
Cat on lead is not really possible (as our cats would freak out) but has anybody tried this sort of thing before to stroll around with their cats?
This might not be quite what you’re looking for functionally, but my daughter has something like this that she used for going on “ walks” with her cat and traveling to/from Europe.
Did the cat enjoy that? I think mine would hate it.
Same here. Ours would feel too constrained I think.
Thats kind of why I was looking at the stroller option. It has a lot more space.
We have 1 cat that we backpack trained from a kitten. We’re working on longer walks this coming spring, but he’d be chill for a mile walk or so.
He even likes it after going to the vet in it a few times. He doesn’t despise the vet, but it’s not fun.
The older two didn’t get training and hate it.
However that backpack looks pretty annoying to zip a cat into. We use:
The cat’s only 7 pounds but we like it. (We got it on a good sale, hopefully you could find one?)
As far as I know, yes. I can see how getting the cat into the carrier could lead to “issues” and also how the cat might freak out while being in there.

We lost one of our cats to a vet error last year and the rescue centre has a new kitten.
And of course the little one is bouncing up and down asking us to please please please take it home with us.
Manager? I barely know 'er!
We used to have a cat named Mu, because that’s the sound he made.
Just got a new cat last week - an 8 mo. old gray tabby. Very cute. So far our other cat (about 8 y.o.) has been very wary, but hopefully they will eventually coexist peacefully.
