I could have posted one of the 4762 cute pictures of my cat - I could have done that.

Here is our newest little kitty. We got her from my wife’s aunt’s farm. Pretty sure she is our first 2 cats mama. She was ferrel, but tiny. She must have started having babies as soon as she went into heat and stunted her growth a bit. She is a bit wild but she has taken right to inside the house life. She is the only cat never interested in going outside. She has become a lap cuddle in just 3 months of domestication.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I said. Cat didn’t quite make it up the canopy bed post and used my face as a landing pad.

We have a new batch of kittens from our feral momma. Hoping we can trap her this year, but I am not bringing these babies inside, I’ll wait and trap them later, I can’t do another round of every two hours bottle feeding.

Newest kitty is a lap kitty. She will lay down on both me and my wife’s lap and go to sleep at night. You can also see the dog in the background. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

From that angle, that could be a picture of my calico that also loves laps. She doesn’t like visitors much though, so unfortunately most folks don’t know how great she is.

She is a Tourtie, but no white.

Yesterday, I had to tell my neighbors to start kicking my cat out of their house. Apparently he’s been sleeping inside their place and getting fed all winter long. I wouldn’t have had the problem if he was just going inside and hanging with them every once in a while, but having his own sleeping bag in the basement is over the line.

Neighbor lady came over as I was cooking dinner in tears, telling me she’d made him leave. She and all their kids were sad about it.

Yes, I knew it was going on, and didn’t ask to stop it over winter, because he doesn’t like the situation in this house with the other cat and he might have been exposed to the weather. The good news is the other cat will be moving out in a couple of months, so until then he can just be outside and when he gets hungry he can come crawling back to the OG house.

I want a lap cat. I also want to not be allergic to the lap cat.

My daughter was allergic to cats before we got one. She would get red splotches all over her face and have a constantly runny nose. She really wanted a cat though so we got one. She took Claritin for a week and then stopped and after 3 weeks she was fine. Not sure how allergic you are but from the internet this is pretty common among previously allergic to cats folks who get a cat.

I’m OK with my daughter’s cat in the house or if she’s on the lap peacefully. If I scratch her head or pet her for a few minutes, I get affected. I might try Claritin for a bit.

My cat doesn’t affect me, but he doesn’t want to sit next to me on the couch.
