Quick Summary:
It’s Friday, and it served us well, as both completed games went three throws each, and each ended with the same lesson: Nothing beats good ol’ Rock… when you throw scissors. In the game with the more severe consequences, NumericalNeuroticism’s Rock knocked out MountainHawk, and thus NN earns the sixth seat in the Elite Eight, and is just a match away from the Final Four… but NN’s gotta get through the regional titleholder first, SteveGrondin!

I though JFG won the first set of throws against BruteForce. I thought that was what the intern missed. I guess the intern missed it twice or my screen is wonky.

Quick Summary:
Well, that’s not the ideal start to someone’s Monday… and in this case, that “someone” is Breadmaker, who is now down 3-1 to NerdAlert, with a trip to the Elite Eight on the line! indeed!
Meanwhile we’ve finally got our last contestant in the arena, as Ted_Hoffman dutifully took plenty of time to scout the opposition… and then lost anyways. (But If I were AbstractActuary, I’d be a little 
on that one - just look back on Ted_Hoffman’s run in the 2025 tournament, and you’ll quick realize it could all be part of the plan! 
)

There were ten, and now… now there are nine. 
That’s right - we’ve lost another one today, as Breadmaker couldn’t quite fend off NerdAlert, and thus NerdAlert advances to the Elite Eight, to take on the Regional Titleholder (and defending champion) soyleche, with a seat at the Final Four on the line!! 
Meanwhile, as one disappears from the cliff’s edge, another emerges - who is that I see there? :squinting: Ah, it’s BruteForce who has arrived at the cliff’s edge, and with a big task ahead, being down 3-0. Looks like JFG’s got 4 chances to win the region - how hard can that be, right? (Yes, I’m totally going for the announcer’s curse here - gotta get some extra drama in here to feed the ratings, ya know!).
