Quick Summary
:skull_and_crossbones: :skull_and_crossbones:
:oh_noes: :oh_noes:

That’s right, folks - we’ve hit the trifecta of icons in the Quick Summary - we’ve got a little bit of everything going on right now! Let’s see what happened:

Most of the action occurred in the JFG Region, where all three :oh_noes: changed to new icons , including our first appearance of the  icon, which tells us we’ve got our first Winner Take All Game 7 of the tournament! :astonished: Perhaps what’s even more :astonished: is that the  match is happening after Klaymen was down 3-0! Will Klaymen complete the rally, or will OldTimer finally put Klaymen away in the 4th attempt? Stay tuned!

In our other regions, we’ve got a couple of players still living on the edge, but I don’t think of them as being behind - I just assume it’s part of their master plan. After all, we’ve been running this tournament long enough that I know people are playing 3-D and 4-D chess here (which really is a shame, since this is RPS, which is soooo much more sophisticated, ya know? :face_with_monocle: :tophat: ).

Stay tuned, and keep those throws coming! :+1:

Good game. I think I’ve lost to an eventual final four participant pretty much every time I’ve entered this tournament, I’ll be rooting for you to continue that!

And RPS is like . . . 1-D chess, amirite?

Good game @Ted_Hoffman my strategy of making these long games didn’t work as we never made it past two throws

My 3-0 lead is now gone. It all comes down to this throw (or throws).

You seem skurred.

ETA I quoted the wrong post. Oops.

Quick Summary:
:skull_and_crossbones:
:oh_noes: :oh_noes: :oh_noes:

The results are in of the first (of many, I’m sure) Winner Take All Game 7, brought to you courtesy of the OldTimer-Klaymen match. OldTimer started out strong, going up 3-0, but it’s Klaymen who enters Game 7 on a hot streak, having won the past 3 games. So what happened?

P OldTimer
P Klaymen

Of course they tied - what else would you expect?!

P-P OldTimer
P-R Klaymen

… and OldTimer pulls it out just in time to advance!

And Oldtimer’s reward is a match against our defending champion!

(It’s never easy in this tournament, is it? :person_shrugging: )

In other news, just as the JFG Region wraps up their moment in the spotlight, the T.N.LINUS Region moves into it, as both of those matches are in :oh_noes: status - two throws could end everything very quickly! Kid_Rock is teetering on the edge as well, so we could have a lot more carnage very soon!

Stay tuned, and keep those throws coming! :+1:

GG @Klaymen. That was very unsettling. Now to get trounced in the next round. Feels like last year.

Bring. It. On.

Cheeky popcorn gif goes here.

JFG ended my rookie run last year. I feel it happening in my sophomore season too.

Maybe I’ll be generous and share the RPS Champion badge love. Because if I lose that’s the reason.

I’m scarred by all this popcorn I’m eating!

Don’t get too much butter on your hands, you’ll slip and misthrow.
