In our last episode, we were left with this:

for the last seat in the Elite Eight. It has been a back-and-forth match between the Regional Titleholder Kid_Rock and The_Notorious_LINUS. Last year Kid_Rock (almost) made it through the entire tournament making comebacks and taking Game 7. Was 2023 just an odd year for Kid_Rock, or does the streak continue?

Apparently Kid_Rock can’t even… The_Notorious_LINUS advances to the Elite Eight!!

But wait - what’s this on the horizon…

In our last update, we had :oh_noes: appear for OldTimer, who was down 3-0 to JFG.

Did the Acme :broom: Comapny finally make a sale this tournament?

It took a couple of throws, but OldTimer shooed away that :broom: salesman - OldTimer is still alive!

Meanwhile, the other matches for a seat in the Final Four have kicked off, and Echo already scared away the :broom: salesman, evening up the match with VA.

I’m thinking we’ll learn our Final Four this week, so stay tuned (and keep sending in those throws!) :+1:

Nah. I’ve been hoping to make it to the final four for years. It’s going to get dragged out or you’ll wipe the floor with me.

(Apologies for the late post today - some outside items threw a wrinkle in today’s schedule, but we’re back now, and that’s all that matters! :slight_smile: ).

We’ve got quite the set up match-ups going on here in the Elite Eight. We’ve got two matches that are engaged in tight back-and-forth games, and we’ve got a third match that appears stuck! That’s right - after 5 throws, we still don’t have a winner in Game 2! Methinks that Ezekial_Cumberland saw this coming:

… so we’ll see who blinks first this time around!

And last, but certainly not least, we have our :oh_noes: match. JFG is up 3-1 on OldTimer. OldTimer sent the :broom: packing last game - did OldTimer live to see another day?
