This is the same guy – Takakeisho.

On the right, when he was an active sumo wrestler.

On the left - how he looks now, after he retired. He still has the hairdo, because he hasn’t had his formal retirement ceremony yet (where they cut off the topknot).

He has been one of the best sumo commentators since his retirement.

I don’t understand it, but it still made me laugh.

The context for that is here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/SumoMemes/comments/1nsl9z8/new_onosato_face/

It was right before the championship bout – the guy who won looked at some card and made a bizarre face…it’s part of his prep for the bout

we’re speculating what’s on the card

Our current nomenclature for Slack IDs is first initial plus last name. I just discovered we have an employee with the first initial B and the last name Ong, so he is @bong, nice.

I had a roommate in college who’s first name was Bong. He would introduce himself as ‘Bong, like the pipe’.

I worked at a place once where emails were first letter of first name + last name. A lady whose first name began with S and last name was Crew made IT add a T (I think her middle initial) in there so with was stcrew instead of screw :joy:

Oh, once we were given user names for something. First three letters of your last name plus the first three letters of your first name. I had a coworker named Brooke Mann, she was assigned MANBRO.

I thought you were going to say she worked for IT.
The name placard on her door could be SCREW IT.
