not mine but a friend 5 blocks away. in the burbs, so plenty of city light pollution. visible on phone more than to eye (apparently) - i don’t look up

Yeah, last summer I was up in Danbury, WI, and I could barely make out the aroma boreal used pretty colors in the night sky, but my brother got some nice pics on his phone.
The prior owner of our house recently found a book that had a pic of the block from way back when. The photo says 1910, but I have documentation stating our home was completed in August of 1912. At any rate, here it is. My house is the middle one out to the right.

An interesting thing I’ve seen when flying is the “full circle” rainbow (it was around the shadow of our plane against the clouds).
