Are states actually making abortion a capital crime? :yikes:
Thatâd be pretty crazy, if in some states something considered a capital crime is straight up legal in other states.
Just make sure whatever DIY abortion video youâre using has 4+ stars on Yelp.
i know youâre joking but thatâs probably true
What are you thinking? Mom had to cancel Christmas to afford a vacation/abortion via Greyhound bus? Mom tried to save Christmas by doing a $99 Amazon Basics at-home abortion kit and died or wound up hospitalized?
Maybe more of a feel good story. Mom saved by using a car pool, got 20% off the procedure using Groupon, and the balance was picked up by her GoFundMe?
I hate this timeline so, so much, yâall.
Because if you heard it on a podcast, it must be true.
Wonât be legal, but it might be practical. I guess weâll see.
Dream on.
Anecdote:
Someone I know had an unexpected pregnancy but would never have considered having an abortion. That is until a test raised the question of a possible abnormality which had a range of severity but even in the best case scenario, the kid would never be independent. Even with possible suffering aside (the risk of which was not insignificant), she said itâd have been one thing if the childâs lifespan would be contained within her own, but struggled with how could she saddle someone else, such as niece/nephew or subsequent child with someone profoundly disabled. Fortunately subsequent testing turned out okay, but the trauma of facing that potential decision factored into not having another child.
They are already being welcomed. Americans, of course, are not covered under Canadian Medicare so they would have to pay for them.
Its protected in the Kansas constitution. However, there is an amendment being voted on this year to eliminate this protection. However, this ruling could significantly impact the result of that vote now.
If it wasnât in the constitution, I would assume they would outlaw it.
I doubt many poor people have passports, it could take too long to get a new passport as well.
They think itâs ending a human life. Many push for it to be homicide. Why wouldnât they?
Iâm not sure if anything has come of this:

According to the article:
Misoprostol can be obtained without a prescription in Mexico,
Where does the line end? Will birth control pills and IUDs be next, because they work in part to prevent a fertilized egg from implanting. And it wasnât that long ago some idiot politician said ectopic pregnancies could get relocated into the uterus. Could anyone pregnant or might be pregnant be denied medical treatment due to the potential risk of being blamed for harming a pregnancy? Or if a woman declines treatment that results in a poor outcome, is she on the hook for murder or child abuse?
Just thinking about COVID vaccination. A pregnant woman gets vaccinated, and has a miscarriage. Murder? Or she doesnât get vaccinated (or is refused vaccination because what if something bad happens?), ends up hospitalized with COVID, fetus is stillborn. Murder?
IUDs are likely. I doubt they would do regular daily pills.
Nevermind that IUDs have therapeutic usesâŚ.
I wouldnât be so sure. Regular pills work by suppressing ovulation and making the uterus âinhospitableâ in case ovulation and fertilization happen. Or the fear that they could be âmisusedâ in lieu of outlawed morning after pills.
Would you feel empowered to pull your own teeth or stitch up your own lacerations? Itâs straightforward.
Maybe Cruz can pick some up the next time he bails on a state disaster.
Iâve posted too much in this thread but Iâve heard of too many sad situations and realized there are more shades of grey than Iâd previously imagined.
Vaccinated? Jail. Not vaccinated? Believe it or not, straight to jail.
