Bought tickets to see Owl City in September. It’s the only artist I will see live, generally not a fan of concerts.
We got tickets for U2 in Vegas in October. Google maps currently shows a large hole in the ground where they will be playing.
Going to day 1 of Louder Than Life in Louisville. The bands I want to see are Foo Fighters, Weezer, 311, and Royal Blood. 10 other artists is just icing on the cake. Should be a fun day.
Weather looks nice for a local folk festival tomorrow. Will probably go for parts rather than whole of day.
added Deer Tick in MPLS in november to the Deer Tick in WI Dells in june that i bought a while ago. very excited!
Lol, it’s next week. Cross-post innumeracy thread.
But the park was nice, we had fun, and there was some live music.
Discovered that Heilung is coming back to the US this fall, and managed to get tickets to the closest show, in Baltimore, in October.
I thoroughly enjoyed their show in Dallas last fall. First concert I had been to in 20 years.
Not music, but saw trevor noah earlier this month.
Looked into Jim gaffigan, but over $125 each.
There will be a Netflix show eventually.
Saw modest mouse and weezer tuesday. Good show.
So despite this, my sister invited us to see Sum 41, the offspring, and simple plan in concert this summer, end of august, and we are going to go. Sum 41 is one of my favorite bands, but I don’t like live music or loud environments. I’ll bring my loops and hope they’re not as washed up as I fear.
The what now?
Loop Experience Plus Earplugs - High Fidelity Hearing Protection for Musicians, DJs, Festivals, Concerts and Nightlife – 18dB & NRR 7 Noise Reduction Ear Plugs – Extra Accessories Incl - Silver Amazon.com
I bought them for some weddings I’m going to. I have auditory sensory issues, and they help.
Ooooh. Yeah, no need to suffer and/or get hearing damage, that’s fun-ish when you’re 19, not so much now.
Hope you still have your JNCO jeans buried in the closet.
Same. Now that song has been stuck in my head for weeks.
Didn’t hear about this show until after it but would have gone if I had known. Didn’t realize Joni was up to touring.
I’m at the Sum 41 concert surrounded by other middle aged freaks. But they’re playing all my favorites!
Kind of sad listening to them sing about anti-establishment to a bunch of 40’s+ people who probably drove here after their office job.
Saw Grand Funk Railroad at a smallish outdoor concert.
I was pleasantly surprised. For a 50 year anniversary tour, they were quite energetic.
Didn’t know we had this. Went to Brews and Brews in Mammoth Lakes, CA earlier this month. Kenny Wayne Shepard was the top act.
Larkin Poe, Dirty Cello, Samantha Fish were awesome.
Got tix to see Ringo Starr next month
