Why limit it to Trump? Let’s open it to all former Presidents.
Because he is the current President.
Kept classified documents after having them being requested to be returned. Directing employees to hide them.
Oh yeah, still Trump.
It is hard to imagine another President having both the depth and breadth of crimes that Trump has committed, that is pretty much all in the public record.
Obstruction of justice.
Emoluments clause.
You have much to learn about stats padding.
Just from reading the thread title, I imagine this could grow to a pretty long thread. What was the record from the old site? Like 6000 posts?
Attacking cops is now ok, if, you know…:
While I fully disagree with Vance’s statement, I do find it funny that leftists are making a big deal of it. I seem to remember that after the Floyd case, as well as some others, there was plenty of backlash against police, including physical assaults against them - and many leftists were cheering them on.
The challenge is differentiating among the hypocrisy of individuals on social media (or wherever), vs hypocrisy of active members of a political group, vs possible hypocrisy of “the left” or “the right”.
Sedition
E.g. “the left” and “the right” are not homogenous blobs as many people seem to like to insinuate and the individuals within these broad groups have a wide range of views on every issue.
I don’t think these are illegal. Immoral, sure, but that’s a different metric.
Do you recall any elected government officials doing so? Appointed bureaucrats in vaguely relevant positions doing so?
There are nuts and lose cannons of every political persuasion. It’s different when it’s officials, and not just random people on X.
I am pretty sure every political statement related to Floyd came attached with “the vast majority of our law enforcement is outstanding” or some similar comment to separate those from the bad apples. With Trump/Vance, the bad apples are not the ones not enforcing the laws within reason, but anyone enforcing a law that they find unnecessary.
Yes, Maxine Waters. But I recognize that she’s a nutjob who doesn’t represent most of the Democratic representatives in Congress.
An agency computes a Voluntary Separation Incentive Payment on the basis of the lesser of:
- An amount equal to the amount of severance pay the employee would be entitled to receive, as computed under 5 U.S.C. 5595(c), without adjustment for any previous payment made; or
- An amount determined by the agency head, not to exceed $25,000.
I wonder how many employees will resign, only to learn that their 8 months of severance is capped at $25k? Of course I wouldn’t blame anybody looking to get out of the federal government at this time. I’ve done this same when a company went to shit.
