Certainly sounds like good news.
Our non-competes in the UK don’t seem to be as severe as the ones they use in the US.
In practice, because we have very long notice periods at the senior level (3-6 months), they usually just give you garden leave for that time, or maybe even PILON but with the caveat you can’t work for a competitor until the notional notice period expires.
