I know he, amazingly, is still alive. My comment was more about how many Americans would dispute he was a great American when doing his investigations.

Intermission (2003) This seems like the kind of movie that I’d really like - an Irish version of the British humorous but dark crime movie with intertwined characters and plots - and it has a great cast who do well, but I just never got into it from the start. Maybe it was just that none of the characters is particularly likeable. It was ok, but a bit disappointing..
Burn After Reading. Eh.
A Fistful of Dollars. Eh.
For a Few Dollars More. Eh.
The trilogy is on Prime, leaving soon, so I’ll watch that one as well.
The Commitments. Somehow I"d never seen this. The music was good. Everything else was just kind of crammed and superficial in order to get it all to fit with such a large cast. Glen Hansard’s role, which was what had finally motivated me to see the movie, was a good example. He has tons of screen time and a fair amount of lines, but in the end you really couldn’t say much about his character. Unless that was supposed to be the point of his character. Thinking back, maybe that’s the case. Other than that, there was mostly lots of bickering, which annoyed me pretty quickly. Still enjoyable overall.
Mickey 17 (HBO). I see what they were going for but wasn’t great imo. I didn’t care for Mark Ruffalo’s character.

Nope. Prime caught on to my pattern and made “The Good The Bad and The Ugly” a rental.
Well . . . it was “leaving the free side of the service” . . . so it’s still true.

I think it was leaving 8/31, but I got caught up doing other things (the shit seasons of “Friends”).
I’ll just check it out at my local Blockbuster…

My wife and I really enjoyed that movie.
Mayday - a fun buddy action comedy. Don’t take it too seriously and its very enjoyable.
