I can’t believe there is nothing about this fantastic race. He doesn’t even mention Rich Strike down the stretch until he has taken the lead.
There was some stuff in the Pick a # 1 - 20 thread in the general section.
I guess that the pace was blisteringly fast for the 1st half of the race, and several horses were gassed on the final stretch, which favored the horse in the back that kept something in reserve.
