Is this a HFBB situation?

Recently it’s been less clear which of my posts are being liked, and by whom.

OK, there would be an obvious reason for that, but it’s contradicted by the info I’m getting of this sort:

When I click on that heart by Hip_tiger, for example, it does at least take me to a post I made in Happy Thoughts. And clicking the the two hearts by Vorian_Atreides does take me to two different posts I made in Funny and SFW.

I observe that there is often nothing in such post that shows me it has been liked.

But tonight I just see this in one of my posts in Political

When I click on the 1 heart to find out who liked it, I see

Should the software be telling me that those 5 avatars all belong to the same person?

You caught me.

I SEE FIVE HEARTS!!! !!! !!!

You mean you see 5 hearts on the post in Political, or you see 5 in my posted screenshot here? I still see only one on the post in Political.

I have observed this phenomena as well. Even though you get the notification that, gosh darn it, people like your post, the actual  by the post doesn’t light up right away.

Give it time. It can take a while for the blood to course through the venae cavae to reach the right atrium of your post.

I notice that too, @SteveWhite. Press F5 (refresh) and I think you’ll see your “heart count” match the expected number.

I don’t think clicking the heart on your own post will show you ALL of the posters (necessarily) once it gets to be a rather large number . . . but I think it’ll show you a listing of the more recent ones to like your post.

That did not work for me, perhaps relating to my using an iMac.

I’ve had it take a few hours for the heart to light up.

Never mind. I found what I needed to press, and it now shows 6 hearts for that post.
