Irn-Bru

should I try

What could possibly go wrong? :man_shrugging:

Without knowing anything about it, and if it is potentially dangerous to you, I highly recommend it.

Cuz I hate these types of threads.

Ok, this made me laugh out loud.

I have lived in the US, Canada, UK, EU and nothing really compares to Irn-Bru. It is a unique soft drink in terms of taste.

Very much a Scottish drink. Extremely popular in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Its very much marmite for most folks. You either love it or hate it.

The Scottish are still around so not that dangerous.

I neither love nor hate it, but I do love marmite.

I like marmite a lot but once you try vegemite, there’s no going back.

I do love Irn-Bru though.

Irn-Bruglia

One fizz wonder

I love Irn Bru. In terms of flavor, it reminds me a bit of the blue bubblegum flavor from bubble gum ice cream. I ask anyone who is visiting the UK to bring me back a bottle or 2.

Search for British stores in your area on Google. :+1:

It is my understanding that the Irn-Bru the export to the United States isn’t the same as in the UK because of stupid FDA regulations.

Also why you can’t get real Haggis in the US either. Apparently the FDA doesn’t think lung is fit for human consumption. //hatever.

Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Irn-Bru is NOT banned in Canada.

Well it’s not like I needed an excuse to drive up to Vancouver or take a ferry to Victoria.

Bought a can of this elixir/concoction/potable today!! It’s in the fridge at home. Should I drink it on its own or throw in a shot of vodka???

I heard we couldn’t get Irn-Bru here because lung meat is banned
