“Hate to see some-pin happen to your pretty boat…”
lol that sounds pretty batshit. Will have a chat with some Lloyd’s folks tomorrow as I am back in London and am curious to hear their view.
This sounds on par with Trump offering public reinsurance on his end (this ended up being a complete failure as expected. Nobody took him up on the cover).
Trouble is there’s no shortage of insurance on trying to pass the strait, but firms themselves don’t want to take the risk
The trouble with this endless pseudo-war, is that like Tariffs, ICE, Russia-gate, the insurrection, and numerous felonies ranging from rape to fraud, is that it makes Trump’s endless diarrhea of tweets newsworthy.
Why does reality always want to make Trump look bad?
one of my favorite quotes (socrates?)
if u wanna offend a strong mind, tell lies
if u wanna offend a weak mind, tell the truth
i find trump to be so offensive and he’s everywhere!
I just think this goes well with Trump’s more-or-less successful master plan of always being on the front page, no matter what. It makes me surprised he didn’t start more wars during term 1.
He wanted to, but he forgot to purge the military first.
Trump is not an easy target. Every crazy person in America wants to kill him, as well as half of the sane people.
In case you wondered whether or not the people making military decisions for the US are morons, part of the plan was literally to use bomb strikes to free far right, Israel and America hating Ahmadinejad from house arrest and have him take over the country.
Ahmadinejad was supposed to end up leading but it didn’t pan out (ninjad)
First thing that came to mind is that they have some Kompromat on him because he is not a moderate by any stretch of the imagination.
Either that…or US/Israeli military planners have lost their minds.
I thought this was his primary base . . .

Why not both?
I think Trump and his minions have much larger problems now…
$5 gas will obliterate their electoral chances.
I do think that Trump thought this would just be easy, and now that it isn’t he’s all “get it off get it off get it off” like when you accidentally touch something sticky and you don’t know what it is but you don’t want it on your hand anymore and on short order.
This is an interesting economic behavior development, which is also driving up gas prices.
The second is the refinery conundrum. Jet fuel crack spreads — the difference in price between jet fuel and crude oil — have reached a record $80 per barrel, well above the $60 peak in 2022. Because a barrel of crude oil yields only three to four gallons of jet fuel versus 19 to 20 gallons of gasoline, that extraordinary margin is pulling refinery capacity towards aviation fuel. The result defies normal market logic: gasoline production has declined by approximately 340,000 barrels per day compared with a year ago, even as prices rise and refineries run near full capacity.
It is… I think the 2nd assassin Ryan Routh was initially in Trump’s base. He later gave some cash to democrats though I’m not sure he even went as far as voting Biden.
