I have an iphone 12 pro max. I bought a battery replacement kit off of amazon. It doesn’t come with a premade video but, rather, just a few pictures with the instructions and then further advises to look up videos on the internet.
Many years ago, I replaced the battery on an iphone 6, but, well, you know…
Anyway, the problem I’m having with this one is that I can’t, for the life of me, get the glass cover to come off.

He’s got a nice metal lever that he uses. This kit just came with a cheap tiny plastic one (not much bigger than a guitar pick).
The problem that I’m having is, even after using a hair blow dryer on the thing (for what seemed like a really long enough time), the glass screen isn’t even budging. (Yes, I did take the two screws out.)
If I could get past the second step, well, that would go a long ways to improving my mobile electronic life.
Any tips/ideas/etc.?
