Reminds me, we have a local art place called Van Go. I know I’ve seen one or two of their vehicles around town but I don’t know if they have custom plates.

It wasn’t a personalized plate, but getting on the highway going from one doctor’s appointment today to another up here in Connecticut, I was behind a car with a Puerto Rico license plate.

I don’t recall the last time I saw one of those (possibly during a cruise stop at San Juan 18 years ago).

I don’t usually get that far north so I probably won’t see that plate.

I don’t even know if it was a local plate. I assume that there’s some kind of military or other government-service relationship (the usual explanation for Hawaii plates on the East Coast), so it’s entirely possible they were just passing through.

It was just an unexpected thing while out and about yesterday.
