Innumeracy

Times a thousand!!

No, I simply bought two singles. I’m assuming that someone forgot to put the sets of two on sale commensurately.

Are the singles left hands or right?

Yep.

I got on the Williams Sonoma website. There were lots of single oven mitt and potholder combos. What if a man needs to pull a big-:peach: roasting pan outta the oven or a big-:peach: rib roast off the grill???

That’s a new combination, ribs & peaches, let me know how it works.

Uh, preach??? :man_shrugging:

You see, the Finns, they don’t fill the cone with ice cream…and don’t consider that a part of the “treat”…they might even fill it with raisins just so that they don’t accidentally eat it once all of the ice cream is gone.

Silly Finns: rai-SINS go straight into the composting bin!!!

I don’t think that explains the innumeracy in the picture.

I think it’s that there are 4 scoops, which should make the numbers 25% and 75%.

Unless they’re trying to convince me there are five scoops.
THERE! ARE! FOUR! SCOOPS!

Okay, I see your point, but, in my world, three scoops of strawberry gets 5% more weight and one scoop of mintchocolatechipbonbon gets 5% less weight.

[red]I think that’s also what they say in the words underneath the “20%” and “80%”[/red].

Maybe it’s a time thing, like you’ll spend 20% of your time eating that top scoop, then the rest of the time eating some of the strawberry scoops until you get tired of that because who wants that much strawberry ice cream right?

I’d think amount of effort; applying little effort to consume that top scoop, but realizing that the entire cone is still melting at a constant rate, you have to expend far more effort to consume the rest or risk licking it off the hand ground.

5-second rule notwithstanding
