leap day should be the day after year day every 4 years (a double holiday)

For such a beastly month as February, 28 days as a rule are plenty.

name for 13th month should be “Actuary” since it came from this forum

I just realized today that May is my favorite month. I’m going to enjoy the last few minutes.

Just as my phone was bringing up where KMOX was, I saw that really tilted building and realized it was the arch.

I grew up listening to KMOX in the morning before going to school (Mom had it on in the kitchen), and Cards baseball during the summers.

Any particular memories on what Februaries were like?

Never enough snow as a kid, with the exception of a 13" snowfall in 1982 (actually fell Jan 30/31, but lasted several days.)

should be June 31st not Feb 29th. We should get an extra day of summer and not an extra day of winter.

We, as in northern hemisphere we?

Well of course.

You’ve had your free extra summer day every 4th year for centuries. It’s time to share the wealth.

Hey, I voted for the puteketeke, so I am practically a kiwi already.

Uh, pretty sure we get exactly the same number of nice days regardless of which month we put leap day in.

Apparently under this new calendar (13 months of 28 days, plus one), the “Annual Leap Day” is not SuMTWThF or Sa. And since people work M-F, no work. Essentially a holiday. Having it in Summer works, for DP at least.
Do note that it’s just an idea and not to be taken seriously, so digging deep and asking questions (“What about computer systems?? Are stores open on Leap Day??”) is a moo point.

This is more immoomeracy rather than innumeracy.

I just wanted to make a moo point, too.
