Do Missouri Costcos sell wine? I was a bit surprised when the Costco in Wichita didn’t.
Yeah, honestly 80% is fine for road trips, I’d just have to maybe make the first stop sooner. Rural parts of the state still suck but along the interstates chargers are pretty plentiful.
I don’t know, I say KC but it’s really in Lenexa, KS. MO has pretty loose liquor laws and I bet they do but I don’t know. My Costco sells beer but no wine or liquor.
Oh, the Costcos in Kentucky sell liquor for great prices. Kentucky, being a big liquor producing state, has low liquor taxes. And less restrictive rules on selling liquor than many states.
Ever since the Florence Costco opened I would go to it whenever I visit my parents in Cincinnati and bring stuff back to wherever I’m living.
A 1.5L bottle at the Florence Costco cost the same as a 750 mL bottle in Oregon or Washington of the same brand. But really it’s better than that. If you see a Kirkland brand bottle that looks kind of like a Grey Goose or a Crown Royal bottle (or whatever)… it’s a pretty safe bet that’s what it actually is. And then the 1.5L of the Kirkland brand is probably less than the 750 mL bottle of the brand name stuff elsewhere.
And per Kentucky law, you don’t have to be a Costco member to shop at the Costco liquor store.
The Costco near the Maui airport is hands down the best place to buy alcohol on the island. Good selection, prices are like half of what it costs elsewhere.
I didn’t realize we had that many hippies on these boards, what with their electric cars and all.
IF you run into a Blantons Gold please buy it and let me buy it off you. Also ANY Weller!!!
Weller white>Weller 12 (Black) > Weller [Insert here]

I am trying to get a collection of the Wellers
Well Costco Liquor is like everything else Costco in that the prices are great but the selection is not. But if I see any I’ll keep you in mind.
WTF do you think Costco is?
Costco Business Strategy is: “We got a good deal on a shit load of (insert product). We might not ever get that deal again.”
Small-batch stuff is rarely if ever found at Costco.
I will check my local fine liquors store, which has a lot of the small-batch stuff, for this liquor you want. Mostly for my own edification. Shirley, you have high-end liquor stores near you?
I’ll also check my local Total Wine, though that is devolving to the Costco strategy – it is replacing “lots of different wines” for “mass-produced liquor is quicker.”
I have seen it there, especially in KY (where it is made). Even Grocery stores get this stuff frequently there…
Ah. The local Costco might have struck a deal.
DIY advent calendar kit from the $ store had stickers for the days: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 6, 7…

:note: Wine is fine, but liquor’s quicker…:note:
Would’ve been even better if it were …6, 6, 6,…
There are three kinds of people: those that can count, and those that cannot count.
Mebbe the person at the factory had 6 fingers on each hand. ![]()
It encourages abstinence on day 5 and the reward for that is a double helping on day 6.
When Mini Me was 2 & 3 and learning to count she always skipped the number four. Every time, always four that she skipped.
1, 2, 3, 5, 6 …
I’d point out that she skipped 4 and she’d get angry at me. “No four, Mama. NO FOUR!!!”
I tried explaining that I have a math degree and am really quite certain about the existence of the number four, but she had no respect whatsoever for my educational qualifications or expertise on this subject matter.
