One month in the books. Some days easier than other, some things where it just seemed natural to have a drink are tougher than others. Going to a gaming convention at a hotel this weekend so that should present some challenges.

Buy an appropriate tanker and fill it with your preferred drink. If someone asks, you tell them itās āOrc Swillā (or whatever antagonist is appropriate for the game youāre there for).
I was thinking the hotel bar might present more problems than the gaming sessions. I do plan on bringing a cooler full of drinks though.
Do it like the gays do, say youāre doing GHB and you canāt drink (because youāll die).
Do you like mixers? I find it very easy to just get bloody mary mix or cranberry juice and thatās the part I like better about the drinks with those in them anyway.
Yeah I can order a tonic and lime or something similar.
My favorite drink at hotel bars is gingerale and cranberry juice, over ice, with a twist of lime. I rarely have all the ingredients at home, and itās delicious.

tonic & lime. most things and lime are good.
if NA beers are present and you donāt object to them, they are also good and I find i drink them far slower than I do a diet coke or the 3 oz of liquid and 5 oz of ice in some of the other drinks. keeps me from having 500 diet cokes

Diet Soda has never been my thing. Iāve never liked the taste. I guess Iāll try the motto of you canāt have 2 if you donāt have 1.
I donāt care for Diet Coke if Coke Zero is an option, but I drink it. I shouldnāt.

Closing in on 4 months. In many ways itās been easier than I thought thought gotta admit some days Iām like damn a beer would be nice. Iām surprised Iāve found a few NA beers that actually like: the Laganitis IPNA, Buckler and Clausthauler have all been decent and unlike regular beer its easy to stop at 1.

Keep an eye out for Krombacher, erdinger, Heineken, Sam Adams and Kaliber NA beer if you havenāt already tried them.

Well seeing as Heinekin was one of the few beers I disliked I probably wonāt be looking for that. Think Iāve had Kaliber in past but donāt remember it. The others Iāll keep an eye out for. The place that sells Buckler may also carry Erdinger (Iāve seen the alcoholic version there) but I havenāt seen a Sam or Krobacher at any of my regular stores but Iāll keep an eye out.
I also donāt like regular Heinekin. Their 0.0% is a very different though.

Some of actually like the taste of beer believe it or not. As for Diet Coke or Coke Zero I have no intention of ever intentionally drink that again.
