Some folks are having problems seeing some images right now. I suspect that’s because some images are hosted outside our system. The forum has like 30-50G of images which was too much for our shared hosting environment so we split them off years ago. Now with the return to our own hardware we’re not limited by resources.
I’m pretty confident that moving the images from the external environment back over to this site, that the problems will go away. And I was planning on bringing the images back over again anyway.

So, today I’m going to get started moving the images back over to the site. There will quite likely be some passing impact on your user experience lol today as a result. Pulling the images down shouldn’t impact anyone since there’s a ton of bandwidth, but the forum has to reindex every post at some point and that will almost certainly cause some thrashing.

lol, no kidding. The site really has turned into a bunch of meme postings.it actually impacted us in google, google’s giving us a lot of ‘low quality’ signals. Hopefully that won’t impact our revenue.

Images have been copied onto the server now. Just running a multi-hour process to update all the posts to point to the new location. It’s running now.
