This seems to have great potential for the “quotes out of context” entry . . .
Same guy that’s been their head winemaker forever is still doing it. He’s a bit more than just a winemaker for them. His words were something like he’s in charge of everything getting the wine in the bottle. After that point, its in others hands (sales, marketing, distribution…).
One of the tickets I bought included 4 bottles of their wine to take home for $110. It was one each of Cab, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and Pinot Noir.
That is a thing of beauty. Enjoy!
That is pretty inexpensive wine!
They had my interest when I saw a nice multi meal with Frank Family wines, but the add on price for 4 bottles was the clincher.
I bought some fishing line from Amazon, spouse bought some filters for the fridge. Both showed picked up by carrier then delayed.
I guess they had a truck break down.
Bought an outdoor TV mount for outdoor TV. I wanted one that pivoted upward so the TV wouldn’t be in the way, but it couldn’t hold the outdoor TV’s weight. Went with a no-drilling one instead.
Chocolate and Vanilla Girl Guide cookies!!! They were in the kitchen at the office and they called to me!!! Amirite, @JFG???
What I’m thinking right now:
“I will now play Claire de Lune…”
A bit off on the timing for posting in this thread . . .
Bought a Galaxy Watch 6 yesterday . . . started taking new medication that has a potential side effect of increased heart rate and/or BP.
I’ve been pre-hypertension for the last year or so; so getting a more direct feedback was desired.
Liked some of the other helpful heath-related feedback items as well.
But found out that since the FDA hasn’t approved the use of a smart watch to measure blood pressure, that functionality isn’t enabled automatically. But I did find some work arounds to get it enabled that I’ll be working on tonight.
99% sure my dog would get frustrated and destroy that on day one.
That’s enough to raise one’s blood pressure.
Finally pulling the trigger. Will likely be a little over $5,000 all told. We are getting the 6-person, sadly the wood we want is the priciest option and doubles the cost.
Is this some sort of kit where it converts from a dining table to a gaming table and back?
STBX got the kitchen table in the divorce and while I got a bar height table that will temporarily serve as a kitchen table, long term I’d like the bar height table to go in the rec room behind the sofa (if we want to eat while watching tv) and buy a new standard-height kitchen table.
A kitchen / gaming table seems fun. Especially as Mini Me gets older and more into games.
Wait, hold the phone… the gaming part is just always there and then you lift off the table top?
That’s awesome!
So like… if I was working on a jigsaw puzzle, I could put that in the gaming section and then put the topper on and have a regular dining table while the jigsaw puzzle sits safely undisturbed underneath???
If so… WANT!!!

@twig93 Precisely. It has a lot of options. There is a magnetic groove that runs along the inside and the outside where you can order a couple sizes of cupholder, dice holding trays, small tables to go on the outside to hold papers, etc. Then it has a topper to cover everything from cats, etc.
This kickstarter appears to be the best price-to-value ratio I’ve seen. There are cheaper, shitty ones, and ones of not much greater quality for more like $7000-13,000.
Ours should be completed maybe late summer? I’m guessing, haven’t gotten far in the process yet but I’m reserved.
A buddy of mine has 2 of their tables and is happy with them. I’m impressed, too.
Looks awesome.
We got one from Game Theory tables, called origins. It has treated us well.
Have had friends over on a weeknight, kids were getting tired, so just put the top back on, finished the next week.
