Just bought a sound bar and woofer for my living room TV. Why didn’t I have one of these before? I think this one was middle of the road Samsung. I saw it on sale for $250 open box and just bought it
If you bought that from SONOS you could have had the future opportunity to buy a speaker for each room of your house and have them all connected to the same source coming from your phone app.
I might look into that one. Does it make it easier to hear what the actors are saying?
Absolutely!
Ultra thin TVs resulted in a lot of crappy speakers in TVs. Even a low end sound bar can be a massive improvement over the TV speakers.
I think I need a better A/V Receiver. Anyone with ideas?
(It might also be due to shitty streaming quality.)
I ordered a fitness tracker. I hope it will help keep me on track fitness-wise, but I have to admit that the larger motivation was simply to cash in on UHC’s rewards program, which now depends greatly on the use of a tracker.
As a cheap beginner, I went for the Fitbit Inspire 3.
I have an Apple Watch now, but I got my first Fitbit around a decade ago and really enjoyed it.
I’m on my 2nd fitbit and probably don’t use it half as much as I should. It tracks my steps well enough and it’s a nice watch.
Hip_tiger_wife bought a new watch (~$35) from JCPenney. Its battery died after 3 days. No refund, no repair. So she bought an Apple watch. She rarely wears it, but uses it when she misplaces her Apple phone. ![]()
She can’t just simply return the watch?
Hip_tiger_wife tried to return the watch to JCPenney, but they wouldn’t give her a refund. ![]()

That’s aggravating.
Throw it in a garbage can.
(R needing an N)
My uncle found this nearly perfectly good watch in a garbage can and got it fixed for like $50!
Neutralizer pellets for my furnace. Apparently, high efficiency gas furnaces produce condensate that is very acidic, which would damage my iron drain. So once a year I have to change out these pellets that are chemically basic.
I just got me the every 3 month send me a filter mail subscription. I am at Home Depot at least 1x a week. Why is it so hard for me to pick up a new filter?
I’ve switched to every six months, BUT I used to run a pair of 16 x 25 x 1 filters. I discovered I can fit in 2” thick filters, which basically doubles the surface area. A little less work, and I buy pretty cheap filters on Amazon and this is cost effective.
bought 2 pairs of new jeans this afternoon.
BYLT? I think they’re sexy! And I hang out with you. And you have a vibe that gets womenz! I need to go tighter jeans.
