F*ck the following:
COVID-19, AIDS, Alzheimer’s, Cancer (all kinds, especially Childhood ones!!!
) , Huntington’s, Rai-SINS, Parkinson’s, Tuberculosis, and all nasty, icky, germy sicknesses!!! F*ck 'em all!!!
ESPECIALLY the Childhood ones…and the Rai-SINS!!!
Scientists need to wipe out the scourge known as rai-SINS!!!
Yeah, website, I know I’ve posted more than 25% of the replies here!!! Sheesh!!!
And for that, we’re THANKFUL!!!
If Breadmaker didn’t reply, it would be a lonely, lonely thread for 169er.
I’ve been dethroned!
This can only mean one thing…Klaymen’s going computer shopping this weekend!!!
I need to go computer (parts) shopping, I replaced the thermal paste on my CPU, but it’s still running no lower than 95° C with no load. Actually, I should reopen the case and make sure it’s not the fan that’s the problem, but my computer is offline until I deal with it.
Funny you should say that I bought a CPU and the went to Best Buy to get a motherboard - but not for this but to just be updated for Windows 11 (if that ultimately even becomes necessary).
But I couldn’t get it to work, using some parts from my old computer. I even tried a second motherboard but I couldn’t get it to even power up. I was fairly confident I was doing things right, the motherboard setup is extremely similar to what I have already.
So for now I’ve got a processor and nowhere to go with it. The processor would be 12 threads instead of 16 so I’m guessing if I were able to implement it I might get lower points.
Turns out I bent a pin putting the CPU in and then spent the better part of a day and two of Best Buy’s motherboards trying to diagnose the problem. I learned a lot, but I’d rather have not suffered so much.
#itsonlymoney.
