I didn’t see a lot of KC clothing but I wasn’t paying much attention. But I bet you’re right, I assume the analytics have improved to help address issues like this. Good for satisfaction, likely good for revenue to put the right butts in the right seats.

I don’t really like when people ask me about my weight, because I don’t like the idea that other people are thinking about my weight as much as I do. But today my sister came over and asked how much I’ve lost, because it’s clearly a lot, and it was kind of nice to hear.

I haven’t showered since Thursday, so now that I’m lying in bed (during the time I was supposed to spend in a meeting that was canceled) immediately post-shower, I feel really great.

We went to our library’s used books sale this afternoon. I got five books. So cheap. Now I can do a reading marathon so I won’t have to think about the elections.
When I finish reading them, I’ll donate them back to the library, so they can re-sell them. Shampoo, rinse, and repeat.

A friend’s dad just finished up cancer treatment: 2 1/2 years, a couple of surgeries and chemo.

Had an amazing meal with the family at a tiny little town (Tiradentes) on the way back to Rio. Really cute town.
Turns out the chef used to work at a very high-end restaurant in the Basque country (Mugaritz) so he came out to talk to us for a bit (Brazil is a huge country but they get very little tourism outside of a few main areas so he was curious about us)

When I cracked my phone screen a little while back, due to the repair cost I opted to get a new phone. I traded in my old phone with an estimated trade in value of $75.
Today they told me they will give me $150 for it instead after evaluating the condition. Sweet!
