My bonus is 40% higher than I was expecting.
It’s higher than my salary was when I first started working as an actuary. I’m kind of blown away at that thought. Of course, the dollar is worth a lot less now than it was then, too…

My target bonus is only 20% of my salary, so it’s going to be a while before it’s consistently above my full year salary in 2008. I suppose if I get promoted it would increase, but they don’t make target bonuses at officer levels public, so I have no idea how much is typical above my level. I’m also not all that interested in being promoted.

my exam days raises were 20%+ on passing
3 job changes netted 20 - 25% increases each
current job any increase has been minimal

Greece has officially made same sex marriage legal.
This was a hard fought battle against the Orthodox Church that still has a hold over a big portion of the population.
What really amazed me was that the PM who pushed this through (and it took a lot of political capital to do so) was Conservative.

I was having problems with https websites yesterday. which is a bother because all my online payment websites are https. So I did some stuff yesterday, was able to get it resolve enough to make the payments.
Came back this morning, same problem!!! So I forked around for a few minutes, ended up following another video tutorial and deleting several unused applications, and now it works again. Can’t tell what it was, because I didn’t isolate my attempts at all, so I don’t know what I need to if this happens again, but Yay me!
