Happy Thoughts

Years ago I took some kids turkey hunting. We had no luck. When I was dropping the kids off, we passed a farm with a flock in the field. Very exciting! We debated knocking on the farmers door to get permission, but eventually decided against it.

Which was.good,.because in speaking to one of their neighbours i found out that they weren’t wild. The farmer.was.raising some heritage breed lol.

Kiddo has to start with “Unkie One” and then introduce more digits as the kiddo’s math comprehension improves. :+1:

I get really confused when I go into the thread for dreams you remember and don’t realize where I am

Last time I made stock and froze it, my high IQ decided to freeze it in some glass jars. Result was as you expect, a freezer full of broken glass.

:people_hugging:

My daughter once put a six pack of Coke cans in the freezer. As expected, a freezer coated in Coke.

In my defence, I was hired for my good looks.

I left a 12 pack in my car during a cold snap. Not all the cans blew and the cardboard box contained the mess somewhat.

I left a Fresca in my car over the weekend in January in Minnesota…I was wondering wtf would throw a snowball into my car…and how they got it in there

Because you didn’t leave sufficient space in the jars for expansion? Put them in the freezer while the stock was still hot?

My mother froze stock in glass jars all the time and to my knowledge never had that problem.

That said, don’t ask her about the time she made iced tea by pouring hot tea over ice that she’d pre-loaded into her favorite glass pitcher.
