It seems Samsung has changed its nessaging app. I can no longer easily copy pictures i am sent to my Gallery.
It says i downloaded them to Messages Stored Media, but I have no clue how to access that.
Any help would be appreciated
Idk about Samsung specific apps, but do you have a Files app? If so, I usually dig around in there.
Google tells me that Samsung is retiring their messaging app in favor of using stock Google Messages.
On my Pixel, pictures saved from Google Messages ends up under Pictures/Messages (or /storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Messages for the full path). This is similar to where screenshots get stored (Pictures/Screenshots), but is NOT where photos/videos taken with a picture are stored (/DCIM) or where files downloaded from my browser are stored (/Downloads).
I can find and broiwse those directories in the Android file explorer of my choice.
