If we had a talent show, what would your talent be?
Disappearing act
stand-up comedy. I’ve got a solid five minutes.
I would probably do a frisbee show with the dog
Singing: Best with others singing harmony. I’ve done all parts in barbershop, tenor and bass in chorus and in church choirs. Our barbershop chorus did Christmas in a coffee shop for several years, shows on stage; Bye, Bye, Birdie for community theatre. We also sang for several community festivals, occasional serenades for Valentine’s.
… simple piano (I started lessons this year.): Away in a Manger
Singing, but i need a shower on stage.
The quintessential actuarial talent:
Shoe-gazing.
Explaining technical details of math to an executive and a 5th grader.
I’d almost say at the same time, but it’d not be as spectacular as it might sound
Lemon Squeezy’s BHS winning performance was impressive.
Piano for me.
I play piano better than most, but am sure many people here are much better than me.
oh yeah ![]()
Cheeky Flashdance gif goes here. You know the one.

I don’t have a performative talent, sadly. That was one of the reasons I made this thread. Wanted to see if I was the only one…
i also have no performing talent to share
Being awesome!
For NerdAlert, that just a quality she possesses . . . not a performative talent.
Quilting isn’t performative?
I mean, since we are all virtual, what would a time lapse quilting video look like?
The school I teach at just put on Newsies. They had adults play sone of the parts. I was Pulitzer’s bookkeeper (who comes up with the idea that makes the show possible)
I sing better than most. I don’t do much solo stuff, mostly choirs.
My acting is sub-par, but it was really fun. I haven’t been in a play since high school.
There was a time it might have been juggling. Then for a while, tap dancing. Now, not so much.
Oh, good point. I used to be able to juggle too. Can still do some card magic too.
