“10” is the brand we paint on the sheep.
Doh! I missed the “or would like to visit” part.
Okay, so what’s up with black faced sheep?
Also, are you aiming for wool or meat? I mean, it sounds like you harvest both, but which is primary?
I’m not entirely sure what our goal is… like I said - we don’t really make any money from wool, so probably meat. We don’t really make much money from that either though…
For the black face stuff:
We keep the all white and the all black ewe lambs. We sell the dingy ones to wherever they go to become lamb chops.
The white ones make sense - white wool is what you want. But why the black? While the lambs are very black, when they grow up the wool lightens and ends up just sort of a grey, which isn’t worth much. Their faces stay pretty dark though.
We keep them around for counting. It is much easier to spot and count sheep with black faces than to try and count all of the sheep. Sheep very seldom wander off alone, so if there is a black face missing, there is probably a decent group along with her. Also, if a decent group is missing there is likely a black face in it - although I doubt anyone has actually done the math on that (my cousin, who’s dad is the main sheep guy - is a college math professor though, so maybe…).
10 is also an excellent number for a soccer jersey

Oh… I see you expounded… thanks for that
Curious how you asked him about this. “Hey Dad, I’m submitting some random answers about sheep in an online contest. What breed of sheep do we have?”
I don’t know, just seems like a funny conversation.
I said, “hey, weird question…”. Then he answered. Then I gave a quick description of the game. It would actually be a fun game to put together for a family reunion…
Thanks for the game numbers dude. Sorry I missed the live reveal show, it was fun watching the DVR replay.
I can’t believe how average I was at being modal. Yeesh
As terrible as I was, I actually got lucky, maybe. Some sheep may have picked jersey 42 for AO tradition. I would have, had it occurred to me. Instead I went with Jackie Robinson’s, 42.
Thanks for running the game, 1695814.
