They had kayaking round the park last time it flooded.
The fires have also spread to BC. Okanagan valley is being impacted.
West Kelowna has been evacuated in some areas. All non-essential travel has been blocked via advisories.
Never seen anything like it in that area of BC.
Interestingly, the moment I say this, and they’ve started passively forwarding articles from the AP.
Eg.
They are still loaded with “opinions” that global warming is not real, overblown, not our fault, inevitable, nothing we can do about it, loudly insinuating that Greta Thunberg is a b****, etc., but it’s remarkable that they are saying repeating real at all right now.
I wonder why.
Maybe hedging against another $billion lawsuit. Or perhaps just wanting a piece of the biggest story of the year.
Maybe they discovered their reading public is a little smarter than their viewing/listening public?
No. That article is not particularly popular. It was not near the front page, and has like 5 comments.
The “Al Gore is trying to kill your children” and “Look at AOC’s underwear” style articles are infinitely more popular.
Lol, I never go to Fox News so checked out their main page. In order from 1-5 their top stories:

- advertisement
- pictures of celebrity butts.

Yeah, in a way it’s unfair to call it conservative propaganda when there are so many in depth articles about celebrity butts.
The fox news website is much less whackadoodle than the TV broadcast

I was paraphrasing but, yeah. It’s dropped down to story 8 on the front page but celebrity butts are big news.
(I assume this is a celebrity I’ve never heard of.)

Her biggest claim to fame is dating Hugh Grant and probably the Austin Powers movies but she’s been around for a bit.
Another name I have heard. An actor, fairly sure. I think we could spiral on this generation of celebrity for a while.
Yeah every generation has it’s own set of actors and such some are recognizable by the following generations, some are not.
How old are you? And have you never turned on a tv in the 3 months leading up to Christmas when Love Actually is played on repeat?
