Really putting every part of the thread title to the test, eh?
Not if you have a straw brush. I ordered some reusable straws on Amazon and they came with a brush to clean them and it makes them very easy to clean.
Note, I donât have a problem with plastic straws, I just like to have my iced coffee in Tervis tumblers, and those donât come with straws for some dumb reason. (And I donât like Tervisâs straws, despite liking their tumblers.)
ETA: Hereâs what I bought and I like them. I doubt that theyâre environmentally superior to disposable plastic since they contain so much more material and they do eventually break. But theyâre easy to clean using the included brush.

Smoothies, iced coffee
OK, I donât drink either of those. I donât drink beverages in the car either. No smaller children needing a straw. Guess I donât need any.
I use straws for water. I drink more that way (no idea why) and hydration is enough of a struggle.
Yeah, the only time we ever really use them is smoothies.
I have sensitive teeth, so cold beverages. I also have Invisalign, so when I drink cola or cold brew, itâs nice to not get stains.
My kids are the primary users of our reusable straws, though.
I donât think it belongs in political. This actually has a little humor to it.
Spitballs, of course.
That was my thought too.
With all of the talk about pasta sauce lately I feel like this is also worth sharing⌠apologies if itâs already ITT, I donât recall seeing it here but itâs possible that I was even the one who posted it and have forgotten.
