I can buy beer AND wine in some grocery stores in my CANADIAN province!!!

LOL. TN, and KY allow beer sales in grocery stores. Aren’t they supposed to be the belt buckle of the bible belt?
What about Sunday morning? Can you buy beer on Sunday before noon, even if not at the grocery store?
In illinois you can buy beer and wine and liquor in grocery stores.
They want you as drunk as possible to help cloak all the criminal behavior of state politicians.
Same in California.
Missouri lets you buy liquor in grocery stores and gas stations. Being able to buy alcohol at Wal-Mart prices really helped me get through college.
Here in Kansas I can buy beer all over, but not liquor. We can buy on Sunday but only until 8PM.
I completely agree. It’s a puritanical farce of a law. And what’s with having limited liquor licenses for restaurants? There are only so many restaurants in town that are legally allowed to serve alcohol, presumably so the nearby liquor store has customers, but it’s very difficult to be a profitable restaurant without a liquor license so there are fewer restaurants than there would be.
It’s absurd! In PA they had drive through beer stores. In CT I could buy beer in the supermarket.
