With standard time in winter, most kids are going to/from school during daylight.
WIth year-round DST, most kids could go to/from school during daylight if schools started an hour later.
GLWT. It was a huge deal changing around start times for high schools to start later. Poor middle schoolers got screwed. At the height of winter, it’s nearing sunset when elementary schools let out, and not quite sunrise when middle school starts.
WTF is up with my Facebook feed today? Loads of Beetle Bailey comics. At least 12, probably 15 or 20. No single panels, always at least 4. Yes, I read the first few, but only very quickly. Didn’t take time to copy any of them, because none was even close to being worth a :CTM:
