that was my thought . . . although, I’ve seen some of those airport luggage stores selling a size of luggage that needs to be checked rather than carry on.
A bit odd, IMO, for broken luggage at that point, unless you have several carry on’s break and you find it’s better to just get the one big one (and check it at the gate with an explanation of what happened) than several smaller ones.
When my sil was working on his MS he asked for some help with his Stats course so i did some quick googling an reading the link he had. Then he was working on the final project and asked for more help and was using the stuff I had helped him with. But those tests weren’t really the best to test the data he had. So after helping him work through the stuff, I said, you know if I were going to test and explain this data I’d probably use this other test statistic and he says, oh really? I said yeah but you didn’t have that one available in the class so i didn’t suggest it. He says, oh that was covered earlier in the course but I didn’t need help with that.
I was pretty proud i recognized the correct test for his data.
