Well just to suck the fun out of it be educational, the one on the left with the u-shaped mouth is an alligator and the one on the right with the v-shaped mouth is the crocodile.

And if you want a dumb way to remember that:
Alligator
U-shaped mouth
(A and U are both vowels)

Crocodile
V-shaped mouth
(C and V are both consonants)
