I read about that somewhere and couldn’t picture it. This helps.
And the biggie: we had to put lenny down last night.
Poor Lenny.
My wife had one of those stories, but she hadn’t done it intentionally. She was talking to a friend and related how Wallace had jumped up on the bed and started to pee on her the previous night. As soon as she saw the shock on her friend’s face she realized she hadn’t told him that she’d recently gotten a puppy named Wallace.
Nothing photoshopped, AFAIK. The word which potentially would have made it NSFW was **** in the original.
I decided to look it up, as I know I heard it quite some time ago. Snopes pegs it as circulating at least as far back as 1998. The wording they show is mostly identical except that the airport was changed from Stapleton to New York, which I guess makes sense if you don’t want to point out that the story is very old (Stapleton closed in 1995).
Fair enough, but you did not resolve the most important question. Was the name of the airport just changed, or was it photoshopped?
It’s like that Steely Dan album cover, kind of.
You butterfly away before mpc gets here.
Took me a minute, thought it was an aphid.
I thought it was a grasshopper . Thank goodness for the chatgpt update so that it could explain the joke to me.
