Honestly how different are William Tell and The Lone Ranger? Let’s be real.

I’m thinking anyone born after 1995 wouldn’t make the William Tell/Lone Ranger connection.

Did they not use the William Tell Overture well enough in the 2013 Lone Ranger movie or didn’t enough people see that to make the connection? I read something that said it was incorporated within the soundtrack.

No I haven’t seen the movie but I’m old enough to have watch it on black and white reruns on a black and white tv.

There was a Lone Ranger movie?

I have met Survivor member/songwriter Jim Peterik, who went to high school with my dad.

He wrote the book “Songwriting for Dummies.” No lie.

He has written hits for other people, notably most everything you can recall from 38 Special.

His first big hit was an early 70’s jam called “Vehicle” by The Ides of March.

Part of the issue is I’m not much of a movie goer so I have no idea what’s out. I’m trying to remember the last time I saw a movie in the theater. I think I saw a marvel movie with my kids and bil, maybe into the multiverse? The last movie before that was, I think, Wanted (is that the one where Angelina Jolie bends her shot?), and the one before that was probably no later than 1999.
