Reminds me of this one:

My wife got tired of me asking her to text me a picture of the shopping list. We finally got the Alexa thing and put the shopping lists there and that was a game changer.

I just put it on my Phone’s memo

I use Out Of Milk, which has a feature where you can share the list with your SO (or anyone, I suppose). The share feature is not currently useful to me, although maybe it is to some of you.

I use Alexa for this too, but for some reason my wife doesn’t like to use it for the shopping list feature.

I put stuff straight into the store app.

Costco stuff goes on the fridge whiteboard, and whoever is going takes a picture of it.

My wife being frustrated that I didn’t pick up the precise brand/size/packaging of a particular item on her list, or my not seeing late-additions-via-text-message until I had checked out are a big reason why we switched to grocery delivery.

We use an app called OurGroceries. Works great with one small glitch, you can accidentally mark an item as done and end up not getting everything on your list. I usually double check the completed items once I am done to make sure I didn’t do this. Otherwise, it is a great app.

Sort of related… and then I’ll stop derailing the thread. If you’re looking for a repository for recipes, the Paprika app is like $5 and it’s pretty slick. It lets you search Google for recipes and, when you find one you like, it parses out the ingredient list and instructions and saves them. Really simple to use.

A pet peeve of mine is when the poster adds the “three people will get this” part.

Looks like at least 8 got this one.

Apparently GoA has a bit more “seasoned” audience than the general meme circuit.

We do this as well. Sometimes we do a Google keep note

We use listonic, initially for groceries now also for to-dos that we want to share.
