There was a time when we took the knobs off the stove.
We had little plastic covers over them for a couple of years.
I had to install these when my older son started walking around…
when the right answer is not present, you cant blame those for the wrong
13 is at least closest
For “wrong answer not being present” to be true requires that one must use the order of operations all the time. However, there are calculators that will give 16 when you type in the sequence listed here.
also w/o the right answer, depending on the question might answer what I think they think the answer is
Yeah, on a test, if the correct answer isn’t there but a correct answer for the wrong way to do the problem is there and there is no “none of the above” I would probably pick the correct answer to the wrong way of doing it.
And then complain very loudly to the teacher after the test
Um, 15 is closest. 2+2 is 4. 4x4 is 16.
16 is one of the answer.
The answer based on order of operations is not on the list, and 13 is closer to it than 15.
16 is, however, the closest Tromey integer, so.
If 16 is the answer, then 15 would be the closest. If I am in my house, I am at my house, I am not close to my house. 16 is the house, so 15 is closest.
I think I found your problem.
Your the problem
Can’t tell if serious…
2 + 2 x 4 = 10
